Corban - Improvements to Panache wide beam

Corban is a 57' x 14' Panache style wide beam. We carried out modifications and improvements over a period of three years before she came out of the water for a full re-paint and other work prior to moving to the waterways of mainland Europe. Below is a list of some of the work we completed:

• Re-positioning of inefficient composting toilet flues and chimneys
• Re-positioning of bathroom bulkhead
• Bookshelves in bow cabin
• Wine rack and spice rack fitted
• Replacement of single glazed windows and hatches with double glazed units
• New flyscreens
• Accumulator tank fitted to cold water system
• Upgraded boiler and some new radiators fitted
  
• Larger calorifier fitted with an expansion vessel
  
• New pipe boxing
  
• Acoustic insulation installed below deck
  
• LED strip lighting fitted below deck
  
• Engine compartment bulkhead installed
  
• Bilge cleaned and repainted where accessible and ballast re-positioned
  
• Tank level gauges fitted
  
• Battery bank size increased and Fillwatch installed
  
• Battery monitor fitted
  
• Satellite dome upgraded
  
• Plug and socket connectors fitted to solar panels
  
• Engine exhaust outlet re-positioned
  
• Fuel pipes secured and protected
  
• Fuel purifiner fitted
  
• Full repeat engine panel fitted for fly-bridge wheel steering position
  
• Emergency tiller steering capability
• Rudder position indicators fitted
• Larger cables installed for Bow Prop
• Fitting of folding mast with compliant navigation lights
